Immigration officers on the Kempegowda Worldwide Airport caught a 44-year-old Bangladeshi nationwide with a legitimate Indian passport on Thursday. He had been residing together with his household in Kolkata for the previous 19 years.
The accused, Khokan Das, had gone to Muscat to work as a driver a number of years in the past.
Khokan informed officers that he had crossed the Bangladesh-India border illegally and had been staying in West Bengal since 2002, in accordance with officers.
