KOLKATA: West Bengal Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Monday launched the social gathering’s election manifesto ‘Banglar Disha’ for the upcoming meeting elections within the state.
Chowdhury launched the manifesto on the social gathering’s state headquarters in Kolkata.
The discharge of Congress’ ballot manifesto comes a day after Bharatiya Janata Social gathering unveiled its ‘Sankalp Patra for Sonar Bangla’. BJP’s manifesto was launched by Union dwelling minister Amit Shah in Kolkata on Sunday.
Notably, the Left Entrance, the alliance companion of Congress for the West Bengal polls had launched its manifesto on Saturday. Following this, there may be a number of hypothesis happening within the political enviornment as there was no unified manifesto of the alliance.
The ruling Trinamool Congress took the lead in launching it is manifesto first.
Elections to the 294-member state Meeting can be held in eight phases ranging from March 27 with the ultimate spherical of voting happening on April 29. The counting of votes will happen on Could 2.
The state is prone to witness a triangular contest this time with TMC, Congress-Left alliance and BJP within the fray.
