The defence ministry on Monday stated it finalised a contract with Mahindra Defence Methods Ltd (MDSL) to acquire 1,300 gentle fight automobiles for the Indian Military at a value of Rs 1,056 crore.

“Offering additional enhance to ‘Make in India’, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) signed a contract with MDSL for provide of 1,300 gentle specialist automobiles to the Indian Military,” the ministry stated.
