NEW DELHI: Loss-making corporations can now pay remuneration to their non-executive administrators, together with unbiased administrators, with the federal government amending present guidelines. The amendments have been made to sure provisions beneath the Corporations Act, 2013.
The non-executive administrators of corporations having no revenue or insufficient revenue may be given remuneration, topic to sure circumstances. The remuneration limits can be one-fifth of the full quantity that may be given to managerial individuals or govt administrators, in accordance with a notification issued by the company affairs ministry. For such corporations’ govt administrators, the restrict can be Rs 60 lakh, the notification stated. Within the case of corporations with efficient capital of Rs 5 crore and above however lower than Rs 100 crore, the non-executive administrators’ annual remuneration restrict is Rs 17 lakh. The restrict is Rs 84 lakh for govt administrators.
